This week I took a giant leap of faith. After lots of prayer, I decided to move myself back to Atlanta. Lease - cancelled, Job - notified of my intentions. I could not be more excited or more scared. I know this is the right decision because I can't seem to remove the smile from my face.
After living in Louisville, KY for almost a year, I firmly believe this is NOT where I should be. As all of you know, it has been very challenging to establish myself and make friends. To say I am incredibly unhappy is an understatement. Now, the hard part. Figure out the job situation, find a place to live, and get accepted into graduate school. My mantra, Philippians 4:13. When I start to get overwhelmed and consumed with anxiety, I just repeat it over and over again "I can do all things though Christ who strengthens me." The nausea subsides and the smile quickly returns. I am so excited to create a life that has balance and live the life God has planned for me. I feel new, I feel free, the weight is lifted.
So, why the blog? I love reading my friends blogs... Kim, Josh and now Kristen (i found it!) I think Tara has one out there too! Life gets busy between work, living in different cities and time zones. I am always up to date on their lives and want to share my happiness and struggles as I take the leap into the unknown.
Thank you for your prayers!
